The place to be

-All roads lead to Rome (february 07)-
Like everywhere in Europe, all roads lead to a place with a fountain.
Like everywhere in Europe, a lot of people are meeting there on satursday afternoon.
Some of them are dating.
Some are just friends waiting for their friends to arrive.
Some others are here because its the place to be, to be seen or to begin.
And all are watching each other, watching people they probably never would meet again.

don´t you have to meet somebody twice, to make sure, that you met him before? or is once enough to know that you never wanna meet again? or do you just go there,in order to meet those people; being conscious that you wouldn´t have met them, if you didn´t go there?

>all roads lead to Rome<
walking around in that world since more than 29 years - never found that way leading to rome - yet - never had a reason to go there - wanna meet there?

I have the impression that in the streets of european towns, strangers often interact with strangers. People are perhaps more willing to engage in random, because there are many occasions to do so, some places, like this place in Rome, to meet, to relax.
But this people stay most of the time strangers, and the only thing you would share with them is this common "souvenir" of this beautiful place in Rome, on this sunny satursday afternoon. Perhaps did they do the same picture too.

All roads lead you one day to Rome.
Often despite of you. Just because as Europeans, our collective unconscious is full of Rome and the heritage is impressive (for instance as far as laws, but also religion are concerned)

So go there! You'll gonna find a reason after ;)
